Denia beachThe beaches in Denia are separated by the harbour. North of it you find the Malvarossa and the Cabana arena, the more livelier and youthful public beaches. South of the harbour are the quieter beaches.

Denia Beaches - Les Marines Beach (see photo right - click to enlarge)

Les MarinesLes Marines presents the beaches characteristic from the north zone of Denia, very extensive beaches with fine sand. Les Marines Beach is an open beach and has the Blue Flag.

Denia Beaches - Les Rotes Beach

Les Rotes Beach is located to the south of Denia, it constitutes a few small coves with places of incredible beauty. It is the area known as Les Rotes, where creeks with turquoise waters follow one another.

Denia Beaches - Les Deveses Beach

Les Deveses Beach is characterised for being submitted to considerable winds, which makes it possible to practise sailing.

All the beaches in Denia have been awarded International ISO 9.001 certificates - for quality management- and ISO 14.001 - for environmental management. Year after year, most beaches in Denia receive the Blue Flag award, a symbol of the clean seas of Europe. Furthermore, the diversity of Denia's sea bottom has been granted a PIC award (Places of Community Interest).
